Wei Xue

Biography:

Wei Xue, known artistically as April Xue, was born in 1969 in Northwest China. The vast and breathtaking landscapes of he homeland have been a profound source of inspiration throughout her life. After relocating to the United States in 1994, the awe-inspiring beauty of the Grand Canyon and the vibrant parks surrounding her Long Island home further shaped her artistic vision.
Despite holding degrees in mechanical engineering and computer science from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and institutions in New York, April’s true passion lies in the world of fine art. Under the mentorship of renowned artist Huang Yanbo, she developed a
distinctive style that seamlessly combines the poetic sensibilities of the East with the bold, vibrant colors of Western art.

Exhibitions and Recognitionn April Xue’s work has garnered international acclaim, with notable exhibitions at Art Expo New York (2023, 2024), a solo exhibition at the Mora International Art Museum (2023), and the Haegumgang Theme Museum in South Korea (2023). Her art was recently featured at Art on Paper and the Hamptons Fine Art Fair (2024). showcases include Context Art Miami and Aqua Art Miami.

April was also featured in the May 2024 edition of Art Market Magazine and honored with an exclusive interview in GOLD LIST 8, where she was named one of the most outstanding contemporary artists of 2024. Her work is part of numerous private collections worldwide.
