Biography:

Kamran Fallahpour, PhD, is a neuroscientist, sculptor, composer, and musician based in New York City. He works in various artistic media with a special focus on sculpture. His multidisciplinary background inspires him to create artwork that offers immersive, cross-modal experiences for the viewer. His most recent work, Arrival: Consciousness at the Edge of Chaos (2023), exemplifies this artistry. To accompany the large bronze sculpture, Fallahpour composed original music that extend the sculpture’s narrative into the realm of sound and invites the audience to experience the piece on multiple sensory levels.

Fallahpour’s work has been exhibited in several venues and is part of private collections across the United States and Europe.

Medium & Process

Fallahpour frequently works with plaster and applies it to steel rods and frames. This method introduces an element of spontaneity and a sense of urgency to his creative process as he must shape the piece quickly before the plaster dries. Fallahpour draws inspiration in the moment from this dynamic process and the tactile sensation of the plaster, allowing the work to organically evolve in real-time and give rise to stylized sculpted figures. Reduced to their most basic and minimal form, his sculptures convey subtle but powerful expressions that evoke depth beneath their simplicity.

Neuroscience

Fallahpour’s interest and professional training in neuroscience and psychology add an additional layer to his work as he utilizes art as a medium for exploring themes related to the fragility of human nature, resilience, stillness, transcendance, and plasticity of perception. His work also explores the boundaries between opposing forces—order and chaos, music and noise, form and formlessness—and how meaning can be found from their interplay.

Central to his artistic vision is this recursive idea of mutual transformation: the artist changes their medium to create art and in turn, the finished work changes both the artist and the viewer.

Exhibitions & Art Fairs:

Plasticity of Perception

September 8 – October 23, 2016

Opening reception:
September 15

The exhibition – Plasticity of Perception – is his first public show with Capture Gallery in NYC.

555 WEST 25th STREET GROUND FL WEST
NEW YORK, NY 10001

L’artists muses at 13 space

October 1, 2017: 1-11 pm

13 Greenpoint Ave Brooklyn, NY 11222

Statement:

“My artistic practice emerges from a lifelong fascination with transformation—how matter becomes form, how perception becomes meaning, and how moments of stillness can reveal something essential about the human experience.

Working primarily in sculpture, I am drawn to the tension between opposing forces: order and chaos, structure and spontaneity, permanence and impermanence. Many of my pieces begin with simple materials—plaster, steel, bronze—yet the creative process itself is often unpredictable. The immediacy of working with plaster requires rapid decisions and an openness to discovery. Rather than imposing a fixed outcome, I allow the material to participate in the evolution of the work, revealing forms that emerge through gesture, intuition, and chance.

My background in neuroscience has deeply influenced this approach. Both science and art seek to understand how we construct reality from incomplete information. As a neuroscientist, I study the remarkable plasticity of the human brain; as an artist, I explore the plasticity of perception itself. I am interested in the spaces between certainty and ambiguity, where the mind actively participates in creating meaning.

The human figure appears frequently in my work, often reduced to its most essential elements. These simplified forms are not portraits of specific individuals but reflections of universal human states: vulnerability, resilience, longing, contemplation, connection, and transcendence. By stripping away unnecessary detail, I hope to create space for viewers to encounter their own experiences within the work.

Increasingly, my practice has expanded beyond sculpture into multisensory experiences that combine visual form, music, and sound. I am interested in how different sensory modalities interact and how art can become a meeting place between what we see, hear, feel, and imagine. Works such as Arrival: Consciousness at the Edge of Chaos extend sculptural narratives into sound, inviting viewers to engage with the work through multiple dimensions of perception.

Ultimately, my work is an exploration of mutual transformation. The artist changes the material, the material changes the artist, and the completed work continues its journey by transforming those who encounter it. In this sense, art is not an object but a relationship—a living dialogue between form, perception, and consciousness”.

Biography:

Dalia Nosratabadi, born in Teheran, has chosen a very changing and indiscernible subject: water. Not the sea or canals and rivers which are much loved in photography, but its most unpredictable, fleeting and insignificant – even impure – form: puddles of rainwater, neglected and avoided by the rush of passers-by. Emotions are of prime importance and, apart from certain well-known urban symbols, it is often difficult to identify what is being presented. Although New York, Paris, Brussels and Tokyo are easily recognized, there are many indications which upset our certitudes, forcing us to accept the unexpected. After all, snow may transform itself into clouds and mud may reinvent the Eiffel Tower.

Exhibitions & Art Fairs:

2025
Galerie Seed Factory, Brussels – Belgium
Red Dot Art fair, Miami USA
Caroussel du Louvre, Paris – France
Uccle centre d’art, Brussels – Belgium

2024
Galerie Seed Factory, Brussels – Belgium
Uccle centre d’art, Brussels – Belgium

2023

Galerie Seed Factory, Brussels – Belgium

Uccle centre d’art, Brussels – Belgium

2022
Galerie Johanne Riss collaboration with Alice on the Roof, Brussels – Belgium
Renting Art, Paris – France
Uccle Centre d’art, Brussels – Belgium

2021
Galerie du Bihotza, Saint -Jean De Luz – France
Renting Art, Paris – France
What Galerie, Waterloo – Belgium
Balthasar, Brussels Belgium
Uccle centre d’art, Brussels – Belgium

2020
Gallery Bihotza, Saint -Jean De Luz – France
Partnership with Pulmann hotel Roissy – France

2019
Gallery Arnaud Roger, Brussels – Belgium
Gallery Bihotza, Saint – Jean De Luz – France

2018
Degroof Petercam Bank, Gosselies – Belgium
Gaudi Art gallery, Madrid – Spain
Art 3f Paris, Contemporary Art Fair with Gaudi Art Gallery, Paris – France

2017
Degroof Petercam Bank Namur – Belgium
Ten Gallery, Knokke – Belgium

2016
AAF at Jewish Museum of Belgium, Brussels – Belgium
Gallery Rivoli, Brussels – Belgium
Jeux d’hiver, Brussels – Belgium

Bart Brussels, Brussels – Belgium
Emile Dujard Gallery, Brussels – Belgium
Art Under Construction, Brugge – Belgium

2015
Gallery Rivoli Brussels
Quai 26, Lille – France
Galerie Büchi Bjornsen, Monaco
L’Art pour l’Accueil, Brussels – Belgium

2014
Gallery Bortone, Paris – France
Off Art Fair / Brussels – Belgium
Galerie Borato Bortonne / Paris – France

2013
Financière de Courcelles / Paris – France
Winston & Strawn / Paris – France

2012
Jewish Museum of Belgium, Selected by Bozar in the bienal “Summer of
photography” / Brussels – Belgium
OFF Art Fair / Brussels – Belgium
AAF NY / New York – USA

2011
Gallery Lierhmann / Liège – Belgium
SF Fine Art Fair / San Fransisco – USA
Gallery Collection Privé / Cannes – France
BACC Bangkok Art Cultural Center / Bangkok – Thailand
Truc Troc Bozar / Brussels – Belgium

2010
Gallery Antonio Nardonne / Brussels – Belgium
The Joan McLoughlin Gallery / San Fransisco – USA

Selected for the national art show « Canvas collectie / La Collection RTBF »
Bozar / Brussels – Belgium
Truc Troc Bozar / Brussels – Belgium
Lineart, Flanders / Gand – Belgium (with Absolute Art Gallery)

2009
Gallery Antonio Nardonne / Brussels – Belgium
Gallery Pierre Mahaux / Megève – France
Absolute Art Gallery / Knokke – Belgium
Women art show / Brussels – Belgium
Truc troc Bozar / Brussels – Belgium
Fthegallery / Amsterdam – Hollande
Galerie Berkowitsch / Sain Paul de Vence – France
Lineart, Flanders / Gand – Belgium (with Absolute Art Gallery)

2008
Sibony Art Gallery / Paris – France
Absolute Art Gallery / Knokke & Bruges – Belgium
Art London Fair / London – United Kingdom
Leonhard’s Gallery / Antwerp – Belgium
Truc troc Bozar / Brussels – Belgium
Lineart, Flanders Expo / Gand – Belgium (with Absolute Art Gallery)
Lille Art Fair / Lille – France (with Absolute Art Gallery)

2007
Toast Gallery / Paris – France
Truc troc Bozar / Brussels – Belgium
Boycott Art Gallery / Brussels – Belgium
Lineart, Flanders Expo / Gand – Belgium (with Absolute Art Gallery)

2006
Public auction – Embassy of Luxembourg / Brussels – Belgium
ARTEspace – Brussels / Bruxelles
MUBI Museum / Sao Paulo – Brasil
Toast Gallery / Paris – France
Boycott Art Gallery / Brussels – Belgium

2005
Contemporary Art Fair Tour&Taxi / Brussels – Belgium
Appartement Gallery / New York – USA
Boycott Art Gallery / Brussels – Belgium
Subway Rogier & Schuman / Brussels – Belgium

Statement:

“After my studies on painting I’ve traveled, and I’ve started taking pictures first in NY. The camera became a tool like the pencil on a canvas. I focus on the colors, the textures and the graphics without thinking about representation. I’ve wanted to find a new way of showing a city. With a big place of hazard (weather, wind, scene of life…) I’ve started playing with.
In contrast to photography which immortalizes a second of life, I want to give the feeling of movement and sort of timelessness.
My subject is water vibration. The cities’ s reflections under the rain. I like the idea of fugitive, evasive and uncontrollable. I have a very short moment to take the picture, after the rain, before the water goes out. When the picture is done I frame it upside down (that’s why the title of my
book, Tectum edition) to question my interlocutor.
I think as much as the picture is large, as much is interesting because we can see all details of texture and graphical better: A piece of snow become a cloud, a walker take place and a leave become monumental!
I enjoy to arrive in a city and to get lost, I want to give a new vision of the places as it’s new for me. My inspiration come from the discovery of culture
and urban scene”.

Biography:

Born in 1979, Noa Ry grew up in a small town in the Swiss canton of Aargau, in a commune woven from the lives of her extended family. Today, she lives in Zurich. It was her stepfather’s work with computers in the 1980s that quietly opened a path—one that would lead her to explore the fragile, shifting relationship between humans and technology.

At sixteen, she entered art school in Zurich. By twenty, Noa Ry had completed her Bachelor of Arts, and by twenty-seven, a Master’s degree in Cultural and Gender Studies at ZHdK Zurich. This period of study left a deep imprint on her perception of the world—her inspiration rooted not outside, but within the architecture of her own mind.

Living with schizoaffective disorder, Noa Ry moves through realities layered beyond the visible. She hears voices, sees what others do not, and experiences the world as distortion—colliding, splintering, dissolving into a thousand fragments, much like identity itself. What may appear as rupture holds, at the same time, a hidden potential. Through persistence, she has come to recognize this multiplicity as a source—both fragile and powerful—of artistic creation.

For over three decades, Noa Ry has explored the unstable threshold where the human and the technological converge. Her concept of the “DIVORG”—a dividing organism—extends Donna Haraway’s „Cyborg Manifesto“, reflecting the fractured, fluid condition of the digital age.

And so at the core of Noa Ry’s work lies a question: how do humans and technology shape one another?

Her practice spans robotic art, sculptures, sculptural paintings, digitally drawn works, animations, videos, and installations. Moving fluidly between analogue and digital forms of expression, she experiments with combining and transforming different media. In doing so, her work dissolves the boundaries between the physical and the virtual. Through this approach, Noa Ry strives to question and transcend the divisions between formats, media, individuals, and society—ultimately surrendering to the creative process itself.

She does not approach technology with fear, but with curiosity. For her, art is a way of facing the future—of entering it, questioning it, and shaping it.

Again and again, she returns to a constellation of questions:

Who created whom?

Where will this merging lead us?

Is technology becoming a new form of belief?

Are we drowning in machines—or being remade through them?

What, now, does “nature” mean?

Noa Ry’s work does not offer answers. Instead, it reflects—like a fractured mirror—the condition of the 21st century, where humanity and technology are no longer separate, but entangled in a continuous process of becoming.

Exhibitions & Art Fairs:

2026

Context Art Miami, with Gallery Makowski, USA

Tokyo Art Fair, Japan

Representation at Gallery Makowski, New York, USA (6 months)

Exhibition at General Assembly Gallery, London, UK

Exhibition at Chaos Gallery, London, UK

“Art House Show,” DNA Gallery, Berlin, Germany

Group Exhibition, Holy Art Gallery, New York, USA

Group Exhibition, Gallery Delta, Barcelona, Spain

Group Exhibition, Espazio Gallery, London, UK

Group Exhibition, Gallery Azur, Miami, USA (1 month)

Publication: Top Investable Artists 2026 Hardcover Edition

2025

Group Exhibition, Boomer Gallery, London, UK

Group Exhibition, Bizart at Gallery Art & Business, Zurich, Switzerland

Award Winner: El Greco Fine Arts Award (ICM Gestora Cultural Board, Spain)

Award Winner: Collectors Art Prize: Art Legends of Our Time

Group Exhibition, Gallery Azur, RED DOT Miami Art Basel, USA

Group Exhibition, Gallery Artifact2, LA Art Show, USA

Publication: Tagblatt Zurich City Newspaper

Group Exhibition, Photobastei / Gallery Bizart, Zurich, Switzerland

2024

Publication: AATONAU Magazine

Group Exhibition, Artavita Gallery, RED DOT Miami Art Basel, USA

Group Exhibition, MEMA Barcelona, Spain

Group Exhibition, Art International Zurich, Switzerland

Group Exhibition, Art Expo New York, USA

Publication: World Art Guide 2023

2023

“Underneath” & “Underneath Animated,” Monaco Art Fair, Monaco

“Underneath” (Print), Times Square, New York, USA

“Animalis, Golden Age and Web,” Times Square, New York, USA

LA Art Show / Miami / New York (digital), Gallery Artifact, USA

Publication: World Art Guide 2023

2022

Focus Art Fair, Carousel du Louvre, Paris, France

DIVORG Animation, Capital Culture House, Monaco

Publication: Art Vue Prize Summer Magazine

Award Winner: Most Original Idea (Bruxelles Art Vue)

“Holding Together,” MADS Art Gallery, Milan, Italy

Canvas International Art Fair, Venice, Italy

Group Exhibition, Madrid, Spain

Artscloud Digital Art Fair, Seoul, Korea

VR Exhibition “Clash,” Holy Art Gallery, London, UK

2021

Publication: NNC Gallery VWorld Art Magazine

“Locked In,” Artfield, Paris, France

VR Exhibition, Capital Culture House, Madrid, Spain

Video Art “The Wall” — 3rd Prize, TMF Gallery, Switzerland

“Golden Age,” Haarwerkstatt, Zurich, Switzerland

2020

FAT Art Fair, Schaffhausen, Switzerland

Artbox Project Zurich 2.0, Swiss Art Expo

2017

Exhibition, Neuzeit Ruinen, Zurich, Switzerland

Statement:

“In my works, if you encounter what you call “mistakes,” it is only the inability to see the possibility within them.
Biography:

Luna Kai is a multidisciplinary artist working across performance-based painting and film. Kai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Musical Theater and has a background in the entertainment industry as a writer, actor, and producer.

Kai’s practice engages questions of authorship, commodification, and embodied labor through performative processes that position the body as both instrument and site of inscription. Using direct bodily imprint as medium, the work investigates how identity, visibility, and value are constructed within contemporary visual and cultural economies. Kai’s work operates at the intersection of performance and painting, exploring tension between concealment and exposure, agency and objectification, and the systems through which meaning is assigned to both bodies and images. Lived experience, including surviving serious illness, informs an ongoing inquiry into impermanence, perception, and the fragility of physical form.

Exhibitions & Art Fairs:

Collaborated with various contemporary art galleries and platforms internationally. Currently represented by Makowski Gallery NYC.

Statement:

“Working under the pseudonym Luna Kai, I create body-based paintings that explore commodification, sexuality, labor, authorship, and the cultural valuation of both women and art. My submitted collection consists of ten 11 × 14-inch paintings on paper made using washable paint and the direct imprint of my own body: hands, feet, breasts, and rear, transforming the body from object into instruments. At first glance, the work appears playful, childlike, and reminiscent of finger painting. Yet beneath its bright palette and seemingly simple execution lies a deeper confrontation with the systems that assign value: to art, to labor, and to the female body. After more than two decades working in the entertainment industry as a writer, actress, and producer, I repeatedly encountered industries in which women’s bodies were treated as currency. Though offered opportunities tied to sexual compliance and physical commodification, I refused to use my body for advancement. This body of work emerges from that history. By finally employing my body as the medium, but only on my own terms, I reclaim agency over the very commodity I long refused to exploit.

The use of washable children’s paint symbolizes the fleeting nature of beauty, youth, desirability, and the temporary market value society places on physical appearance, contrasted against the permanence of imagination and creative spirit. By working in washable paint, the pieces remain materially delicate, demanding protection and preservation. In this way, the physical vulnerability of the artwork mirrors the vulnerability of the female body: desired, scrutinized, and perpetually subject to both admiration and harm. These works ask: If provocation, sexuality, novelty, or simplicity increase desirability, what does that reveal about our culture? Can a “simple” body print be valued as highly as technically masterful traditional painting? Where is the line between conceptual art, empowerment, commodification, and spectacle in an era where self-image itself has become monetized?

Through anonymity, bodily imprint, and performance, my work invites viewers to question not only what they consider art, but why”.

On the surface of the painting, it is the footprint of mankind. It serves as a fossil of a species of life that burnt itself out and left behind a trail of detritus from man’s bad stewardship. The underlayers of the painting serve as the dwelling of the life that survived mankind. It is mutated and healing itself as it was pushed deeper into the surface of the Earth but has still fights to emerge from the surface. Formally, these pieces are both spatial and topographical cross section of space.

In my process I utilize both ancient and contemporary media. I start my process utilizing wood and 3D resin printing. I am drawn to the malleability and physicality of wood. I am also drawing to the process and infinite possibilities of 3D printing. I further modify the form with encaustics. Encaustics allow me to add and subtract to modify the form above and below the surface.”
